COVID-19 Update

Little Elm Medical Clinic COVID-19 Update

Due to COVID-19, we are experiencing increased patient volume, including those who need treatment on an urgent basis. We typically keep same-day appointments open for acute visits, but increased demand is causing these appointments to fill up quickly.

Televisits are scheduled for potentially COVID-positive cases to protect those with in-office appointments that may be immunocompromised. We are also experiencing intermittent staffing shortages due to COVID-related illness.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate these ever-changing circumstances.

COVID-19 Booster Shots and Flu Vaccines

  • Patients should receive a COVID-19 booster shot 8 months after they receive their second dose of an mRNA vaccine (either Pfizer or Moderna).

  • We also recommend patients get a flu vaccine this year. The practice expects to receive flu vaccines in September. Please follow us on Facebook for updates.

  • Per CDC guidelines, patients can receive both the flu and COVID-19 vaccines at the same time.
